Recently, during my stint at the Graduate School of Banking while teaching a course on Social Networking for Community Bankers, a student came up to me and told me about Landmark Bank and their online video efforts on YouTube. In a prior post, I introduced their first video that talked about their name change and the Landmark4Life slogan and how it was an unconventional way to “get the word out” and stand out from the crowd of other banks in their market area.
In a follow-up video, the “rapping bankers” of Landmark Bank re-appeared and introduced their mortgage lending services with a Real Estate Rap. Unlike the first video, they pulled in (and introduced) several other key bank employees that are involved in the mortgage lending process. Talk about making it a family affair.
Real Estate Rap
In my next post, I’ll show you how Landmark Bank extended their rapping skills to their local Chamber of Commerce to welcome new members. Until then, I hope you enjoyed the real estate rap and it’s inspired you to do things differently at your bank.
