During a recent Blogging for Bankers session on content generation, one of the banks that is in the course shared that they are involved in an initiative focused on what the bank will look like in 2020, ten years from now. As part of the discussion (which was GREAT by the way), we shared this video about the bank of the future and wanted to post it below. As we were talking about content generation and what to write about, we used this video to spark some ideas. They are thinking about posting this internally to their staff to get employees thinking about what banking will look like in the future, but what a great way to engage visitors to your site and as THEM what they think banking will look like down the road. May be a good way to get some ideas for new product development…
Now, what you may not realize is this video was done “way back” in 2007, so by the time the bank kicks off their “Project 2020″, it will be three years old – which is almost ancient in the terms of Internet time.
